art crank is tonight. i'm honored that charles ask me to submit a poster this year, and can't wait to see everyone else's.
Country Sunshine had a bright yellow banana seat and flower basket with daisies on it. She was my first bike, inherited from my older sisters who loved her almost as much as I did. I rode Sunshine up and down our gravel road until my legs were too long to squeeze between the pedals. Passed like an note from my childhood, the poster is hand drawn, colored, bedazzled with stickers and folded down for safekeeping.

A beautiful ode to the bike I loved too! Remember the streamers we plugged in to the ends of her handlebars?
