my soft spot for chalk drawings is undoubtedly from the childhood hours spent making a colorful sea of our long, black tarred driveway from my gallon bucket of sidewalk chalk and carefully selected chalk rocks plucked from our landscaping. the softness of the lines, the smudging for texture and how you can still see the faint mistakes of a line gone wrong even after its been erased, it almost makes you forget that control + z ever came along. photos by nicole robertson, found via black eiffel.
