spring - what the #@$% took you so long? one of my favorite things about the change of seasons is that my playlists shift (as well as my wardrobe). songs that were especially important to me during winter 09: radiohead, reckoner / wilco, muzzle of bees / regina spektor, samson / sufjan stevens, chicago / lenka, don't let me fall / glan hansard & marketa irglova, once and leave / tegan & sara, you wouldn't like me, where does the good go, fix you up and not tonight / alela diane, dry grass & shadows.

okay, so i just joined twitter - and found the link to jess and nick's dinner club blog. they are seriously amazing cooks and i'm fortunate to be asked to dinner often, like i was the night they made this. i dream of a kitchen larger than a hallway...

H & M website

i was browsing around h&m.com and was surprised at how unique and interactive their site is. i love the drag and drop create your own style feature and the dress up models. they also have short little videos that talk about their recent photoshoots, collections, etc...which are a little dry, but i like the idea. not sure who designed it, but well done.

country sunshine

art crank is tonight. i'm honored that charles ask me to submit a poster this year, and can't wait to see everyone else's.

Country Sunshine had a bright yellow banana seat and flower basket with daisies on it. She was my first bike, inherited from my older sisters who loved her almost as much as I did. I rode Sunshine up and down our gravel road until my legs were too long to squeeze between the pedals. Passed like an note from my childhood, the poster is hand drawn, colored, bedazzled with stickers and folded down for safekeeping.

crane paper

anna sent out a link today for crane's new line of 100% cotton paper with a beautiful swatch book designed by C&G. Coolest part: no cotton is even grown to make it -it all comes from fibers left over during industrial cotton processing.
