Steve Harrington

I dig his illustration style ...And the detail in those screen prints, amazing! I really like the idea of cutting frame matte to integrate with the image too.

How can it be, that no one has ever thought of this genius idea before? (or maybe I've been missing out) I love, love, love these alphabet buttons!
From the style files.

This caught my eye today on the Print and Pattern blog. I think I need to print some more tea towels soon!

A fantastic new illustrator to add to my bookmarks. I love how she mixes styles and mediums and makes everything seem perfectly matched together.

I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but these may sway my opinion. The wooden cuff is from bentwood (they have some sweet belt buckles too) and the knit sleeve is from the Curiosity Shoppe.

This made me think "Miami Vice" at first glance. Honestly, I miss the old phones...those tangled wires and fun colors, not to mention the rotary dials. Turns out this phone reduces radiation exposure to the head by around 95% as compared with direct use of a cell phone. Pretty boss.

I love her style...the frayed edging, loose threads and button strings are so perfectly imperfect. Love the white on white texture too.

We spent the weekend up north for Jamie's 30th birthday. It was uber relaxing...good to see the stars and listen to silence. We stopped in Duluth and found some vintage books with amazing illustrations and I picked up a handful of vintage buttons to add to the collection. On the way home we hit up Gooseberry Falls after nearly escaping from the six inches of snow that fell Saturday night. As fabulous as it was, I REALLY enjoyed my nice hot shower back in the city. Happy Birthday J! xoxo

I can't even begin to think about the hours that went into this book. So f*ing amazing! The interaction of the letterforms is brilliant. I watched the YouTube video twice...you know it's good.

I love simple posters. So clean and graphic... I'm also digging the black and silver combo lately.
