Lizama sent an incredible bit of inspiration my way last week, take-g toys. I think my jaw literally dropped while I was perusing the site. I want them all! Thanks, Mike!

More cool puzzles! Kent Rogowski's Love=Love project takes parts from separate puzzles and collages them together. What an AMAZING idea! Can you imagine doing that with 3-D puzzles? Found via Coolhunting

I love this site! I could spend an entire day looking through all the fabulous web design they feature, and I'm not even a web designer! In addition, I think I physically laughed out loud when I read their tag line. Check out the "best and worst" section. Lovely mark too.

The Style Filesalways have something brilliant up their sleeve. I'm diggin these items from their site...especially the laser cut mirrors (will those be the new wall decals??) The paper lamp and cardboard home theater come in a CLOSE second.

I'm ashamed I didn't know about his annual report before this year, but am I ever glad I came across it. I love the meticulous attention to detail and the humor of recording the simplistic events of life that, over the course of a year, surprisingly add up. The layout is stunning, simply stunning.

I'm trying to reduce my amount of impulse buying this year...BUT if I was to crack I think I'd pick up one of these from Mpls Etsy seller Ferociter. Most likely the gold one with the safety pin. I'm not sure if I'm badass enough to pull off the gun ones, but they're pretty boss.

I was reading April's blog today and she inspired me to write my list of 100 things that make me happy. Lately I've been feeling the post-holiday, mid-winter, quarter life crisis blues...so it was a nice reminder to think of all the wonderful things that I have smile about. Thanks for the inspiration Ape! Click for a larger read.

I love public television! A few weeks ago I saw a program on the Play Pump and was completely amazed. Its this incredible invention that brings safe/clean water to African villages. Designed as a merry-go-round, the pump works when children play on it and in turn pump fresh water to a water storage tank. AND, ad space is sold on the water tanks to pay for maintenance and cost of installation...some ads are devoted to promote AIDS education and prevention. Seriously, people amaze me. Quite an impressive feat of industrial design and common sense.

These are some of the most beautiful photographs I've ever seen. I love how she captures both the power and vulnerability of the icebergs. Its also nice to see the amazing beauty in a freezing cold landscape {spoken from someone living through yet another MN winter}. Its the next best thing to seeing them firsthand.

I know the holidays are here and gone, but I found this nesting doll ornament (yes, I'm still on the nesting doll kick) and I thought it was too cute to resist. From Cake and Pie.
